rocker ratios
what's the difference between 1.5 and 1.6 ratio rockers. thanks

take the lift at the valve..divide it by 1.5 and now take that number and multiply it by 1.6 ....that is your new lift at valve...
generally give you about .030 more lift. |

Or just lobe lift times rocker ratio.

The pushrod is closer to the rockers pivot point in a bigger ratio rocker arm. Using something else than the factory ratio may cause pushrod clearance problems, and makes for example choosing proper valvesprings a bit more complicated because the lift rates etc. change. Even if the big ratio rockers are in fashion, I would avoid them if possible, and choose a right cam instead.
