Cool

For months now Ive been trying to buy a set of Mopar headers for 00 QC 5.9 Dak but the dealer keeps telling me they are not available. Finally I gave up and ordered a set from www.dougsheaders.com They arrived yesterday and............they have a Mopar part # and lifetime warranty. Not really surprised as this is one of the places that has been rumored as the manufacturer.Im not sure if ceramic coating is available through mopar but it is through Thorley

I believe the Mike Leach Co. makes the headers for Mopar now. I know Doug Thorley did once upon a time.

Thumbs up

Hehe..OK! Good to hear they're making them for Mopar again. If both companies are turning them out thats even better. What do you think about their quality?

Cool

Finally got the headers put on this past saturday. It took 5-6 hours and they ALMOST fit perfect. The little ear thats cast into the transmission housing on the right side was touching the 2.5" collector when the bolts were only finger tight.Rather than taking a chance on bending the flange and having a leak I zappeed it of with the sawzall.Other than that Im real pleased with the fit and finish. All the welds look good and were smoothed out in the ports. The ceramic coat looks great and I hate to close the hood so nobody can see it...........BTW I talked to Randy at WWW.worldwideperformanceparts.com and he gets his mopar headers from Mike Leach so it looks like they do have two different suppliers

Sounds like a good set of headers to me. Ceramic is the only way to go for longevity and looks. Hows the butt dyno feel with them on?
