Question

I have recently purchased a 00 cc 4.7L I.B Dakota and I will say that it is the best vehicle I have ever owned.

I am looking for the best mods for better fuel econ and better HP. I know that changing the air filter is popular but what are the differen't types and what does the engine sound like after?

You might want to try a cold air induction unit from K+N. They are what people use the most on any and every vehicle. The only drawback is the whooshing sound of air going into the engine(never bothered me). Welcome to the board, I hope you find it informative and helpfull.
