Default comp height?

Thinking about doing a 349ci claimer[cheap] motor for my brother, thats the turned down main 360 crank in a 318 w/ federal moguls or other low comp piston. I'll be throwing sum 974 'w/smog bosses' 360 heads, haven't decided on the cam yet but it's going in a 66 valiant 3spd '3 on the tree' .

Does anyone know off hand if the LC371p federal moguls are 1.72 comp ht?

i know this if off topic but how many cubes do you get if you put the 360 crank in a 340 block?

367

At .030 overbored, 372

At .060 overbored, 378

This trick was an old tyme stroker trick.

Passing you, Over at the "OTHER PLACE", BJR is *I beileve* currently racing one. Ethier way, he knows a few in and outs. Food for thought.
I also beileve you'll need ethier custom pistons or mill the blocks deck to get where ya wanna be/go.
One other issue I can think of is valve reliefs, or lack thereoff.
