Hi all!
I've decided my next vehicle is going to be a new R/T Dakota which I will set up for mainly racing application. I have already got ideas working in my head, but I just can't afford to do them yet. I've heard rumors that the 5.7 hemi will be offered in the Dakota, and I was wondering if this is true or not? Also, I don't have much knowledge of the Hemi engine, so what advantages/disadvantages would the 5.7 have vs. the 360? Keep in mind that I'm planning major modifications to the engine/drivetrain/body of the vehicle. Also, what are the stock gears/axle in the 5.9? D44 w/3.55? Aluminum or Iron? Thanks in advance...I hope to be a Dakota owner soon! ------------------ ---Skillz--- '97 Jeep Zj 5.2L Exhaust, ignition, intake tackled, drivetrain and lift yet to come... |

I think the tanny is the 46re, and the gears are 3.92's. Dont know that much about the hemi though, have seen it, but dont know if its certain or not.
