Eddy heads and adjustable rockers
Hello,
Anybody running eddy heads and stamped (stock) rocker arms on small block LA? I only ask because I hate these Proform (CHEAP) rocker arms I have. Being employed by an OEM, now is not a good time to splurge on some Harland Sharps, Crane or anything for that matter. Edelbrock Instructions say adjustable valve train must be used for anything above stock lift. The Edelbrock guy on the phone says the same thing. I,m running a .484 lift. Just wondering if anybody has tried otherwise. Thanks Rock` |

Nope, never ran a set of eddys, but, i thing what they are getting at, is that the stock push rods are the wrong length with the eddy heads and adj rocker arm can make up the difference.
My self i would buy and adj push rod(aka checker push rod) and find out if the stock one are adequate, or if you need new ones, and what length you need. Like i said i have never ran a set so hopefully someone will chime in that has. |
