I thinking of purchasing the Quickd intake for my 4.7.
The question I have is on the factory air box, the lid has a hose that appears to be an air return hose that runs along the side of the valve cover. Now if were to purchase the Quickd intake does it accomdate for for this hose in some way, either by connecting it the new stainless steel tubing or some other way. I'm sure this hose has a very specific reason for being there. Does disconnecting the hose have any adverse affect on the PCM, e.g put the motor in "limp home mode" or have the check engine light come on. I would appreciate any feed back from anyone that has the Quickd installed on there 4.7 or if the 3.9, 5.2, 5.9 motors have same hose connected to their air boxes as well. |

dude,
you don't have to worry about the intake tubes. Tony has all that figured out. and i'm sure you'll be satisfied. if your concerned with your PCM then jus detach the negative side for a couple seconds and attach it again. it'll reset and you'll have no worries at all!!! good luck!
