I have a 00 dakota slt. I was cleaning inside it today and found oil. Has anyone noticed oil underneath their steering column. The oil is a golden brown like honey, and very thick. It seems to be coming from inside the column. What is it there for? Is this normal? Any help will be great. thanks

It's just a liitle residual grease from the column bearings, probably nothing to worry about, but it would be a good idea to have the dealer look at it just in case...
