340 Carburetor
Hey guys i just got a Speed Demon carburetor 650 cfm oh its so beatiful ive heard that there one of the best out there i paid $420 for it.... do you think it will work good on my stock rebuilt 340?

Open that carb up and make sure it is clean and clear of debrise. Quality control has been an issue with there carbs.

LOL, yea, from what I have heard....once they got passed the front door, it was gone.

They ARE nice to look at, but Mine never ran good, needle/seat-flooding issue that I couldnt fix. Off'd it and got a TQ of all carbs. Idled better and had more CFM's to boot. And it was $300 cheaper! Does Summit even sell these anymore? Seems they were so fed up with returns that they dropped the line, or maybe it was Jegs..or just a vicious rumor...
