Default looking for a gasser front end still!!!

i want to get one for my 1966 sport fury no its not a stock car i have a 496stroker gonna go in it and i want it to be a gasser like back then.
its around 64-68inches across.
looking for websites

i don't think i've heard of anyone that makes 'em, you gotta get an old truck front axel and some leafs and make your own.

The problem is a 66 Fury is a C-body and has some weight to it, so your typical straight axle kit from the aftermarket probably won't be strong enough. Another problem with that weight is once you get enough power in there to get out of the 13 second range, axles, transmissions and other pieces tend to fail more often.
I think blowmestrokeme has the right idea, a straight axle from an old A-100 Dodge van or even from a 60s or older Dodge truck would probably hold up the weight better.
And IMHO, I think you'd be further ahead leaving that Fury's front suspension unmodified because they're very comfortable cars when the stock suspension is in good shape.

I think Speedway Automotive has a gasser style front end kit. Not sure how stout they are.

The newest hot rod Deluxe has a feature on straight axle cars.

There may be some info in there.

As mentioned, a straight axle from an old pickup is how they used to do it in the day.
