On nov. 4th, cecil county dragway is having a saturday test and tune. Me and i think maybe 4 or 5 guys from the dakota R/T club are going down to do some racing. Anyone with a dak is welcome, the more the better. The address to cecil county is 1916 Theodore road, rising sun maryland, 21911. Gates open at 8:30, racing starts at 9am and goes till 4pm. Admission is $35. Last sat. we all went down and there werent a lot of cars on the strip, and you could get a lot of runs in. If anyone has anymore questions feel free to ask, although, i am no good at directions! Cecil has a website, www.cecilcountydragway.com if anyone wants more info about the track.

Supercharged5.9R/T, what do they require when you race? Somebody told me they don't let you race without a helmet, but that seems a little over the top to me.

If your truck is a manual, they make you wear long pants, you only have to wear a helmet if you run 13's or lower. So, bring a helmet if you are gonna be runnin 13's! Do you know how to get there?

Hey this souds great. How many dakotas are you expecting to show up? I live in PG county Md and am thinking about making the drive up. Hope you guys don't mind having some dakotas that aren't running 13's :-). I don't quite have the funds right now to buy an R/T. But if you guys promise not to laugh at my times me and my buddy will bring up our 3.9 'kodas. Mines a 93 5 speed with 3.55 suregrip rear, K&N filter and flowmaster cat back duals.

Dude, dont sweat it man, we are all gonna have a good time, noone that i have met(from the DRTML) judges anyone on what their truck runs, and i sure dont, we are all in it for fun. Noone will laugh at you by any means, R/T or not. bring them out, like i said, the more dakotas the better, 3.9, 5.2, 5.9, doesnt matter to me as long as your gonna have a good time. Well from what i know, there may be like 7 R/T's now, fastdak is gonna be there, and a few other guys. Hope to see you there!

Is anyone else as amped up about this as i am? There is gonna be some good racing. 2 of the guys that are gonna be there busted into the 13's n/a. If anyone wants to fill up with some high octane gas, there is a sunoco at the intersection of route 272 and 40, that has a 98 octane pump, its like $4.15 a gallon or something crazy, but it works(took all my pinging away, but I know most of you dont have that problem) and it sure does smell good! See you all on saturday! The weather is also looking great! Later

For those who may not know where Cecil is, we can agree on a meeting place and then follow me down. Have a convoy started If you haven't been there before, it can be tricky to find. Email me if you want to meet up somewhere. eipes@hotmail.com

5.9R/T, since we're both up north, we can catch up and go down together and meet up with everyone else. Shoot me an E-mail if you want to. I'm real excited about this!

damn guys, this sounds great but unfortunatly you wont be seeing my v6 power this weekend. Today on my way home from work a woman changed lane right into my front fender. I saw her coming and tried to swerve out of the way but it was either her hitting me or, me hitting a tree. Needless to say her nissan pice of crap tore up my fender and looks like it bent my rim a little. So off to the body shop this weekend. Oh and the best part, she doesnt have insurance. THis just hasnt been my week
