I plan on doing headers eventually, and I was wondering what brand you guys are using, and how you like them. Were the hp gains worth the $, and how many tenths in the 1/4 did they shave off.

I have the Borla T-304 Stainless Steel Shorty Headers, PT# 17193, around $415 bucks.
Thery're easy to install (bolt up to the factory y-pipe). They really start to shine in the 2000-2500 RPM range. Since I own a 4x4, I don't do 1/4 runs -- but I can surely roast a set of 31x10.5R15's off the line... ------------------ ---------- 2000 Dodge Dakota 4x4, 45RFE auto transmission, Borla stainless shorty headers, Gibson 3" cat-back exhaust, Intense Performance "z-tube" w/9" big mouth filter. |
