Default Dart starting problems

Went out to start the Dart this morning, and nothing.

All lights come on, gauges work, everything comes on, but when I turn the key nothing.

Could it be a bad starter relay?

P.S. I have owned numerous Mopars over the last 30 years, virtually problem free. but I swear I may have to take this one for a ride off a cliff!!!!!

Just went out and shorted starter relay, fired over, new relay should get me another couple months before it breaks again.

Cliff is still a future option though.

Replaced relay, still nothing, I can ground it out and it starts and runs fine. Could it be a bad Chinese relay?

Default If

It starts when you ground the relay, then the neutral switch on the tranny is not working. It is either linkage out of adjustment or a bad switch.

Peg nailed that one. That is actually one of the first things that I would have tried, instead of blindly throwing parts at it.

No blindly throwing of parts at it here. Moved shift lever, wiggled shift lever, moved linkage, nothing. Finally hit the sweet spot and it started, thanks for the help.
