Biggrin

It took three weeks worth of calls to powerdyne before they finally sent the proper pulleys, and spacers. They never did get the belt size right or sent an instruction manual.I was beginning to think I was the guinea pig so they could find out what was different between the 99 and 00.

This thing kicks ass!It will light up the tires all the way through 1st and a ways into 2nd.

Its got some different sounds I'll have to get used to. At idle I hear the auxiliary fuel pump running and at 1800 rpm's and up the blower whines. The only thing I dont hear is ping.Even with the performance computer I only pull out 2 degrees of timing

Rodney, thats great man, glad you enjoy it, i think the reason you dont hear any ping is because you have the 24# injectors. I may be totally wrong, but i dont think the pump should be running constantly, mine only comes on when i go under boost to feed the extra fuel, does it run constantly when the key is "on"?

With the powerdyne the fuel pump will run when the engine it running. As long as the pump in the tank is running the auxillary pump is running. That is unless you have something to switch the pump on and off. My ATI come with a pump controller that does exactly what you are describing. The guys here in Michigan wired their aux pump to the green black fuel relay wire. So when you tank pump runs the aux runs. My controller senses boost and turns on the pump, I can adjust when it turns on and how much voltage it will send to the pump to adjust the pressure. Some people when installing the PD, will wire the aux pump to a straight 12v feed and it will run the pump when ever the key is turned on. This is very bad, since the engine isn't running you will have abnormally high fuel pressure and could blow a line. If you get in a wreck the fuel pump will keep pumping gas and not shut off like the stock pump, also very dangerous.

Cool

Finally Im back on line again It took the cable co three long days to get here to find out what was wrong with my modem.

Scott, Originally they sent me one ribbed pulley instead of the two smooth ones that are needed. Also they forgot to send the 6.5x3/8 bolt that goes to the bottom idler pulley that they dont mention in the manual. They sent 112 in belt and a 107.3 is what fits. They sent 5 out of the 7 hose clamps that are needed. The stand off for the bottom pulley was to short and I had to shim it with a flat washer so the belt would not jump off the front of the pulley.

Evil R/T that is what i did, i didnt run it to the 12v feed so it runs all the time, i ran it to the green/black striped wire so that it only comes on for about 2 seconds then it shuts off when the engine is off or the key is on.
