408 stroker *supercharged*??
alright guys, i recently purchased a 75 dodge short bed single cab 2wd pickup. it has a pueny 6 cylinder in it, but its going to change. ive got a older 360ci just sitting around begging to go in this truck. now, my question... on a budget, which is the best way to build a 408 stroker, possibly later on down the line supercharged? what all would have to be done to supercharge this beast? also, i need some help picking out the right components for this build(cam, heads, intake, carb, etc.) any help would be appricieated!!

Have you checked summit? They have a couple of SCAT stroker kits, now I don't know what kind of budget you are on, but they are around 1300 to 2000. Im telling you, Summit has A LOT of options, that is where I have been for the last couple of day's!

Yeah, strokers use to be the domain of guys with big money that could order custom spec 1-off cranks. Now they are very much main stream.

I'd be sure to get a forged crank and I-beam rods if a blower is in the future. Check Hughes, and Indy for ideas and pricing, to name 2 sources.
