383-440 dimensional differences

Assuming you have an identical set of headers on both motors, what is the difference in overall width on each side (3/4?) and height (3/4?) ? Im contemplating going from a 400 to a 440 and I have critical clearance issues in a 65 A body. Namely passenger side shock tower clearance (I have about 1/2 inch, but I have more a little higher) and some around the drag link and torsion bars. Driver side fenderwell is a little easier. Deck height difference is 9.998" vs 10.725". Must be a math formula to calculate the width differences?

wow, looks to be almost exactly 1 inch, 14.14 vs 15.16 inch. Assuming the 45/45/90 triangle equation knowing the 2 90 degree sides. so 1/2 inches wider on each side. still dont know how much taller but that is less important since I just bought an '86 carb to pan, fan to trans 360/727 for 3 Benjamins delivered..not bad.
