My 1962 poly 318 has a hydraulic cam in it

I thought all poly engines came with solid cams ?!

Anyone has any info on that? I´m not familiar wit A engines. (yet :-) )

They weren't built like that in '62... as far as I know...

The only ones I've seen previously were either '65 or '66 model engines. But it's true that Polys did come with hydraulic lifters.

I have seen two poly "A" engines with what looked like hydralic lifters. Closer examination found them to be three piece solids.

You can tell they're really hydraulic when there's no adjuster nuts in the rockers...

Like I said, I found this in one '65 or '66 engine.
