Gromski,

I haven't tried them on the Challenger yet, but I recently got a pair for my 99 F-150 Lightning, modded and making about 540 crank HP (right at 450 rwhp, according to the dyno).

The first time out with them I was able to run a 12.857. This is pretty good for a 2.5 ton truck ;-). Before I got them, the street tires (Eagel F1 GS 295/45 ZR18) I run were getting me down to 13.0, 13.1 fairly consistantly. As you can see, w/o much practice or experience w/drag radials, I was able to shave .3 sec off my times.

To me that, speaks volumes.

As always, I am

Gromski,
I know I am new hear but I have seen some familiar names.Anyway I have run BFG Drag Radials on my Cuda with a decent amount of success. My car went 9.89 with them. They were 295/65-15's. I ran that with a set of Landrum springs and a set of Caltracs. They did slip some(1.5 60' times) but I attribute most of it to the low end on the engine. The car picked up 7+ tenths on 10.5" slicks and had high 1.3 low 1.4 60' times. I have seen a Chevelle go low nines on the Drag Radial so I know it is capapble. They also have pretty good street manners, they do not have the spongy feel of the other street/drag tires I have tried.Hope this helps..
