Default Holly crap!

I just got a FAST wide band for my dart. As I was letting the o2 warm up with the key on, the seconday on my carb decided to flood. When I tried to start the car, the starter was kicking. Then I noticed a liquid poring from the header collector. I thought it was antifreeze, but it was gas! I pulled all of the plugs and kicked the starter over and gas shot out of all of the cylinders like a fountain in Las Vegas. I'm just glad I did not blow myself up.

Does that mean your fuel pump isn't on it's own circuit? If not, it should be and with a relay in the wiring so that you aren't trying to load the switch so hard.

Gee, let it run and it will warm up in less time than you can let off the key. No need to let it sit with the key on and not running.

Many wide band sensors have a heater built in and preheating them may extends their life. I'm sure Party340 had a resoan for doing it.

Mine warms up almost instantly, if it cant handle the two seconds it is running, then it must be crap. I would think the secondary needle and seat stuck open would be just as harmfull for it, excessively rich is way worse.
