Default Will it feed it.

Hey guys I'm looking at building a 493 for my mud racing truck..

11.5.1 compression
Eddy Victor heads (non Max Wedge)
Comp XR292R cam
Predator Carb (E85 conversion) or I also have a Proform 950 double pumper gas carb on my wife's truck if we have Predator haters here...

I really need the power range from 3000 to 6500, and yes I know that a bigger cam would make more power and it is a race truck, however no faster that I want to spin it, I think the street roller will give me less hassle, and I want the motor to be bullet proof (as in the wifey has told me I can build it, but it has to last this time, two wiped cams knocked out my 440's after four races.)

Anyways what I am wondering is; will a M-1 intake feed the motor adequately or do I need to step up to the Victor? I have ran a few M-1's and have loved them, I've only seen a few Victors run on SBC's and they are all real soggy at anything lower than 4,000... Like I said before I'm not wanting to squeeze every last ounce of power out of it, I just want it to be durable and easy to tune... Oh my ignition is a Mallory hyfire 685, with E-coil..

Nothing is set in stone, I'm just in the planning phase right now, so any suggestions are welcomed. I am trying to race and raise a family on a rural cops salary, so I need it to be as economical as possible, I want to go as fast as I can, but I'd rather make it durable (I'd rather be a little slower than to not be racing or even worse be stuck in the position I'm in now of having to race the wife's truck in the little boy class) here are the rules for my class in case someone has a stroke of genius.

Engine Max cubic inch displacement SB 434, BB 514

Aftermarket blocks must voluntarily check size.
