Question

Within the next couple of months hopefully, my friend and I will be attempting to make our own efi system. We are going to run it on my Hemi 6. To work the Sequential injection we are going to use a ELB dissy. Use the existing 4 Barrel manifold with injectors and some squarebore throttle body.
And my friend wil make the brains of the system.

The manufacturing of the system is actually no problem. The aspects that my friend and I are not sure are when we should fire the injectors, before the valve opens or when it opens. And how long should we open the injectors. Also should we advance the injector firing as revs increase?

Any suggestion we be greatly appreciated.

The factorys fire there injectors as the valve opens so that the fuel doesn't have time to puddle in the runner. I think they should advance with rpm increase.

Thumbs up

Hemi 6, I know a guy who injected his 265 in a VG VIP you may have seeen it around, brown one, you would go a long way asking him what he did, that thing goes well. I worked with him before he retired and saw a lot of the fabrication looks pretty neat, he used part of a falcon injection.

He possibly has run it on the quarter, his son races a twin turbo sierra escort at willowbank. I'll give him a call this week, try and find some info.
