Default comp cam 287TH7 vs XE275HL vs 265DEH

I have contemplated reusing my Ebrock 7194 cam in my 451 stroker, but... I have felt the torque has been lacking and power a bit peaky in the upper 3/4 rpm range, not a fantastic cam so far, so I don't like the idea of continueing a mistake. I could only run software comparisons by substituting the comp 287TH7 in camquest as it is the most similar, and my feeling about the EB cam is starting to look right... a bad fit. I was planning on using a comp xe275hl because it has such a widely popular following, but on cam quest I also liked the 265DEH, on average 20 foot pounds more torque than the xe275hl. the xe275hl has an average HP of 306.7 and TQ of 355.4, the 265DEH has an average HP of 299.6 and TQ of 375.9, a sacrifice of 6 HP but a gain of 20 ft# of TQ! and the power and tq come on sooner with the 265 in an rpm range I tend to be in more often than the higher rpm of the xe275hl...

Total HP & TQ are as follows:
xe275hl 545.3@6000hp 552.5@4500tq
265deh 512.3@5500hp 551.6@4000tq
Since I'm not laying down ET's but I am looking for neck bending freeway entries and roll bys, is the 265 a better fit or will the 451 make up for the TQ differences in the 440 reference model and breath better with the xe275hl? Either way I fully expect the xe275hl to trounce the Ebrock 7194 cam, period. Has anyone tried the 265deh cam?

I would definitely go with the XE275, over the older dual energy design. BTW not everything works as well in a computer program as in real life. It is a good tool, but I would bet you that the XE275 will run circles around the 265DEH...

I ran the simulation just to see if I could live with the EB cam, and I saw what I was feeling... crappy cam. I plan on using the xe275, but I thought the 265 looked interesting.

That 265 is very short on seat timing in a 451 IMO. The 275 is marginal. The 265 will be done early.
