my 496 is a 10.5 to 1 compression ratio, alum heads.
Crower told me, due to my compression ratio, they recommended a 254/258 at .050, .600inlet, .625 outlet. solid roller. They said anymore duration would bleed too much cylinder pressure. Thats what I installed, and it seems perfect for the street. Great idle, and serious top end power. |
