Have similar problem w 73 cuda vibration. smooth until 62 then a steady vibration that gets worse w speed. New tranny, rear gears, posi unit, driveshaft. Wheels balanced. Did not think about pinion angle since did not do anything that would change it.....or at least thats what the restore shop said. Sounds like i may need to do that first before checking axles and going into rear end.

sounds like out of balance drive shaft. even when balanced, they won't always balance right when installed. I experienced that. Finally got a Dennys drive shaft and now real smooth at high speed.
also, is a wheel out of round?

Thanks. Driveshaft is exactly what was wrong. Found out the the newly built shaft by a local shop was crap. Had another shop check it (they do the nascar shafts) and they built me a new one. Smooth as glass!!!!

Plan on letting them know in person in next day or so when I can calm down a little and be professional about it like us Mopar guys are....
