Exclamation Can I ask for your help?

Hello,
I have a question for you, Yes it's adumb on too.
Well i'm wondering how to set timming on a 1973 Dodge Cornet 440
But the good part is I know how to set it up =]
All I need to know is what a 440 would be set at.
I understand that clockwise is advancing and counter clockwise is retard.
I just need a little guidance.
If you could ponit me to the right direction, like a webside, video, or something.
Input always helps too =]

Thank you for your time.

Mason.

Are you referring to the Coronet 440 or the 440 engine? The 440 engine wasn't available in the Coronet that year. The Coronet 440 was a model designation, irrespective of powerplant.

Is your distributor in the front or rear of the engine?

'70 was the last year of the Coronet 440 so I'll assume it's a '73 Coronet with a transplanted 440.

The initial ignition timing varies with the distributor but 5° BTDC is a good place to start.
