I went to using solder for a bodey filler, it seems easey to work with and finish's out nice any body run into pit falls with it?

I've never used it, but we had a neighbor when I was a kid who was a retired body man-
started in the 30's. He actually preferred plastic! No worries about lead as a health hazzard was his main reason. He also said working lead was much harder in many areas where the heat would cause problems- near glass, on flat panels,etc. He said that plastic was better to use anywhere that you weren't covering a structural seam. And for finishing, plastic was easier to sand, and you didn't need to worry about flux or tallow screwing up the paint later. He was looking at it from a "production" point of view, not as a restorer, but I still wished I had paid a little more attention to the bs sessions!
