Small Block Mid Plate Specs
I'm building a rod and want to mount the small block with a mid motor plate. I know guys sell them but I need to make mine custom for the frame. I have use of a mill so I can make the plate I'm just looking for the specs for bolt holes and dowls. As a matter of fact I have the locations of the top 4 bolts I just need the specs for the dowls and lower bolts.
Thanks in advance for any help. |

I just used an old bell housing that was junk, clamped it to some 1/4 inch aluminum and drilled away, I scribed the inside and outside perimiter of the bell and went to town with a jig saw to cut it out, I have made four of them this way.

Thanks
Cage, Thanks for the info and I'll do that if I can't find the specs but I really want to make this on the mill if I can. The other problem is all I have is an auto trans to use for a patter so it would be a bit cumbersome.
Thanks again but does anyone else have the plate specs? |
