Default Rear Main Seal

So, I got a 496 block sitting in a 72 Cuda. How easy/difficult is it to replace
the rear main seal? Wonder if my high oil pressure (70 to 80) is making the seal
leak worse? Loosing about a quart every 500 miles. I've heard high pressure oil
can be directed right at the sealing lips?
