What 318 had a windage tray? I have one with casting starting as 7M318...
Thanks. Joseph Tonna |

All the m body police 318s had the windage tray, roller timing chain, and 360 heads.

Ok. Is this engine special in any other way? Did it have the larger combustion chamber heads with casting # 345? When was this engine made? Thanks. Joseph Tonna

The specs depend on the year of the engine.
There are general cop car engine specs at Farley's page: http://www.crosswinds.net/~farley/upgrade/dipcop.html The '87 and up cop car engines should have the "308" casting 360 heads. Also try the "A" engines page at www.allpar.com |
