Today I finished Blackblasting and varipriming the shell of a 69 Barracuda (notchback). I have been working on this 1-2 days a week now for a year and people say it doesn"t even look like a car. I have been stripping it and repairing rust and looking for parts for a year. I have a little welding and a lot of putty blending to do now. Then I have to strip and repair all the doors, hoods, and fenders. I am sure glad this a hobbie because I wont be done when I finish the body, Because I will still need to install a new Ledegendary interior, Floor to headliner. I am having the front seats done by them and replacing the rest myself. When I finally finish the Body and interior it will be time to remove the 340 and do a 451 conversion, I have everything but the 71-72 400 block, if I dont find one it will be a 440 conversion. 5 years and $10,000 from now this will rule the streets in central MN unless maybe Street Freaks Dart is still around.

Thumbs up

Keep up the good work!

Sometimes this hobby is tough and lonely but believe me, in the end it´s worth it all. Really!

Just do something completely different for a while, and come then back to work when you feel like it, again... ;-)

And yes, those people who come to see an empty body shell and tell you it doesn´t even look like a car.... well... they really do not know a thing about cars. They probably don´t even change their oil themselves.

Just my 2 cents
