ok heres the deal i just bought a 71 dodge dart with the 318,automatic,no ac,no power steering,no power brakes(can't help all that my great gramps bought the car brand new and it still only has 50,000 miles) i am wondering of a good place that sells reproduction body parts and interior parts. one of the main things, i need a hood bad the one with the twin air pods. also anywhere where i can get factory option codes and stuff for this car?
i am wanting to restore the outside and interior back to factory(factory as in the nicer factory cars, bucket seats, floor console things like that and remove my front bench) but use a fuel cell and maybe a 360 if i can't find a 340.
anyway where do you guys buy replacement parts? anything to put it back as original as possible. also thinkin of puttin a 70 model grill in it what do you guys think?
i know some on chevy's and fords but lost when it comes to MOPARS.
thanks
Dave

Cool

Hay Phat, I just read you post on the 71 Dart. Good one. you might be interested in another site that deals in MoPar resto parts, its www.jimsautoparts.com. I've found them to be a little less costly than Year One. Both are great sources though. Good luck with the build up. I'm doing a 72 Swinger although I prefer the 71 body. I'm really thinking about going to a 71 grill. It looks so much better than the 72. ENJOY!
