I'm usually a whiz at doing this, but for the life of me I cannot figure out the trick of taking the radio out of my old Chrysler. I have taken out the hear controls and the cowl lever. The radio semms to be in two pieces. Has anyone else dealt with this problem? Thanks, Andy

Strange, I had the radio out of both of my '53 Plymouths and don't remember ever having a problem! I think the amplifier is separate from the tuner, but darned if I can remember how it was removed. Are there any ducts that can be removed?

No ducts are in the way, but the underside lip of the dash adds to the difficulty. The heater levers are kind of in the way, but I moved them. the are two bolts from inside that hold them in. I can't get far enough behind the dash to see what I'm doing. Also, I'm afraid of droping the bolts on the lip and losing them. Thanks for your response.
