What year is your Mopar? I have the book for 1969-1971. Let me know.

Based on the VIN (WP29N1E127812) that is on the fender tag, it is a 1971 Charger 500 383 4bbl built in Los Angeles.
Here is what I am able to come up with. You should recheck the fender tag, as some of what you posted is not correct. Y14 = Sold Car 26 = 26" Radiator N41 = Dual Exhaust N97 = Noise Reduction Package P31 = Power Windows R35 = AM/FM Stereo V78 = Accent Stripe/Colored H51 = Air Conditioning with Heater J52 = Hood Release L31 = Fender Mounted Turn Signals L37 = Concealed Headlamps M21 = Drip Through Moldings M31 = Belt Moldings V4W = Canopy Vinyl Roof, white(or Body side stripe) U?? = Tire code A35 = Trailer Towing Package (not so sure about this on a Charger) B51 = Power Assist Brakes G31 = RH outside mirror G33 = LH outside remote mirror GB5 = Bright Blue or True Blue Metallic Paint D3B5 = (P3B5?) P=Premium 3=Vinyl Split Bench Seat B5=Blue GB7 = ??? (GB7 is a paint code, this position should most likely be 000 for Full Door Panels) C03 = Production date Thursday December 3, 1970 109237 = Vehicle Order Number E65 = 383 4bbl D52 = 2.94:1 Rear Axle Ratio WP29 = W=Charger P=Premium 29=Two Door Sports Hardtop N1E = N=383 4bbl 1=1971 E=Los Angeles 127812 = Assembly plant sequential number ------------------ Ed - MoPower '96 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT CC 360 4X4 '68 Charger 383-4 '69 Coronet 500 Convertible 440-4 [This message has been edited by ehostler (edited November 15, 2000).] |

Does this car really have a towing package?? If it doesn't, look closer at the A35 code, as it may not be A35. The A series codes are package options.
Was there anything after the U code?? Also, take a closer look at the D52 code. That axle ratio doesn't seem right for that engine. ------------------ Ed - MoPower '96 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT CC 360 4X4 '68 Charger 383-4 '69 Coronet 500 Convertible 440-4 [This message has been edited by ehostler (edited November 15, 2000).] |

V78 is delete accent stripe. V4W is a white canopy vinyl roof. U is US made. A35 was optional on Chargers with 318 and 383 only.
GB7 is the color of the upper door frame above the door panel. D52 is correct. WP29 is a Charger SE. WP23 is the 500 or R/T. |
