I just picked up a 72 Baracuda, This will be my first Mopar project, I've done GM's in the past and know very little about Mopars. anyhow what I want to do is make this car look, sound and run like a Cuda. this car is all original (one owner)and has a 318/904 8&3/4 rear, buckets and cons. I really don't care about matching numbers or what engines came in what year cars. So I'm wondering is what would be better as far as an angine/trans combination. would a 440/727 take up too much room and cause unneeded problems. Or would I be better off building a strong 360 for this car, and if so would I then have to dump the 904 and get a 727 ?
any Ideas ? thanks C Rice [This message has been edited by twodawgss (edited November 18, 2000).] |

440\727 AND A E-BODY REALLY IS THE PERFECT MARRIAGE !!! YOU COMBINE THOSE THREE PEICES !!! YOU WILL HAVE A SERIOUS BOW-TIE BURNER... YOU'LL NEVER DRIVE A "SHIVY" AGAIN !!! THE 360 IS NOT A BAD PEICE AS LONG AS IT'S THE MAGNUM 360-380hp CRATE FROM MA-MOPAR FOR $3500.. ENJOY YOUR NEW GIRLFRIEND, CUUDA |

Thanks CUUDA, I do like the idea of "lotza" cubic inches.
