I am curious. I hear a lot of talk about cars and whether they are numbers matching. When looking at a potential purchase, how does one actually determine if it is numbers matching. What are the things to look at. Any help would be apprecitated? Thanks in advance for all your help.

Car VIN#'s are stamped in various locations on body and engine/transmissions.
Locations and type of data differ depending on model and year.

Hope this helps
