i bought a 70 340 duster . its been seating for 20 years ,not bad shape but under the car is gone . the rear frame on left side has steel welded on it .and someone cut the frame where the shifter rods run through , to put a for speed in it . how should i go about fixing it ??? shoul i but another car? or junk it ? i have all oringal parts . # maching at that. help!!!

I suggest that you find a clean six banger '70 duster, and transferr all the HiPo parts from the 340 to the six, and have fun with it. good bodies/frames are out there. try looking on the internet for flordia cars. I found an excellent '70 Duster that I picked up for $1600.00, though it is a base model 318 powered car, I'm happy with it!
