Just a little notice to let you know that the Restoring Your Mopar and Flatheads Forever forums have been combined. I'm your new moderator, and I'm anticipating lots of good Mopar info being exchanged here. There have been a little over 300 posts added to this forum from the Flathead forum, you may want to do a little digging in here, to see whats been added. The posts will still be listed by date of last post in topic. No posts were deleted, except a few that had obviously became obsolete. Anyway, I'm looking forward to chatting!

Bummer! At long last we Mopar Flattie Fiends had a home of our own!
I respect the the hemis and the wedges and even the slant sixes! But, alas.....they all have valve trains in the cylinder head(s). What's with that? ------------------ Fine49 |

This valve-in-head thing is just a fad.
BTW, you guys remember a couple of years ago somebody built a Salt Flats streamliner powered by a supercharged Chrysler straight 8? Set some type of record at about 250mph. Bob |

You might consider renaming the forum "Vintage Mopars Pre-1960", and including the appropriate posts from the Vintage forum.
