Can anyone tell me how to get the hood hinge out of this car without taking the front fender off. The coil spring popped off the stud that keeps it wound up. Can this be easily fixed?

You either have to take off the door or the fender. Take your pick but the fender to me is easier to work on the hinge from. Btw once you get in there you might find rust damage that caused the spring to come off which you won't see by going in from behind the fender this way you are basically going by feel but can do it. You also can remove the bottom bolts from the rear of the fender and get in from down there but again you are going at it blind.

It is best to remove the fender and look at what is missing and or what caused the problem.
