If a cam has a lift of .485 w/ std. 1.5 ratio rockers, and you went to 1.7 ratio is there a formula to use to calculate the 1.7 lift achieved? Secondly, what is the advantange of 114deg. centerline as compared to 112 deg.? Your thoughts.

Take .485" (use 485 without decimals) and divide it by 1.5, to get 323. Multiply this by 1.7 for the final answer of 549.
.549" lift.

OK,
So now I have 2 choices on a cam:
A: 112deg C/L 270 dur. .549 lift
B: 114deg C/L 274 dur. .505 lift

Somewhat small differences but what advantages to each of them? Engine is blown, driven on the street, flogged on the weekends etc.
