I have a little problem, my rules don't allow the stock 400 2bbl holley. The rule reads no front bowl holleys. I ran at a track that had that rule but the mopars could have the stock piece. The holley they wouldn't allow was the 4412. My tech inspector told me I can't use a stock carb. I must use a Carter which he says also came on 400's. I have yet to see a Carter on a 400. Am I not looking hard enough? Do I fight fire with fire and get a blueprinted Rochester? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You can do what my wife did. IMCA has a "no Holley" rule on all Hobbystocks. Must run stock OEM carb. Find a 360 automotive application 2 barrel that wasn't a Holley. IMCA is also sponsored by many companies, including HOLLEY. She called up Holley. Complained to the guy in charge of corporate sponsorships. He called up the IMCA. She is being allowed to run a holley this weekend, now. If all goes well, Mopar IMCA hobbystocks will get to run OEM Chrysler Holleys from now on.
