I started running NGK v gap plugs in 1993. They are very inexpensive and seem to be very good quality. It is not hard to get two years out of them if you desire. I don't remember the part number off hand, but it is something like r-5689. This is a race only plug and has a very cool heat range. This is evidenced by the 1/4" long insulator on the center electrode.
