I know where there's a 488 ci Hemi short block.
It's a NEW MP water block, 4.25" stroke crank, steel rods, and JE 600 series pistons, and the reciprocating assembly is balanced.
He's looking around $3000 US, but it's an act fast thing.

If I had understood it correctly, the 4.15" cranks are in back order. And so were the head gaskets for the small bore (under 4.32") Hemi for aluminum heads. You couldn't get them anywhere, my friend had to get a custom set made to get his Hemi together.

The wedge motor just didn't make enough
power. And you only go around once.

You CAN make the power with the wedge just as easily as the Hemi. I've found it out after MONTHS of hard digging research because of.....guess who...... DartGT66 !!
The Hemi configuration is going in MY project for many reasons, aside from the looks alone!
