Question

I want to put a 383 in a 65 Dart for bracket racing but no one that I know of makes headers for this setup. I called Hooker and they have a set of fenderwell headers for later A & F bodies but they couldn't tell me if they would work or not. I would think they would, maybe shortened a little to fit the slightly narrower body. But before I lay down the cash does anyone have any suggestions?

I have a 65 Valiant with a 360 and I had to use Hooker fenderwell exit headers on it,I cant imagine a big block in there,Ive had 2 BB a bodies,(71,73) and am sure the later year app (67-73)wont even come close to working.I,d buy a set of pre manufactured flanges and collectors and build my own,if in the future you resolve this situation effectively please e-mail me and let me know your solution as I own a High Performance Shop and have 2 customers considering this application...thanks...PRO...
