I've got a warmed-up 440 (10.5:1 CR) and just installed a Nitrous kit on the car. Looking for info/recommendations/experiences with what spark plugs will work best when the car is on the bottle (150-175 shot). Also the same goes for info/rec./exp. with what plugs to run on the motor alone. I'm currently using Autolite 85's and haven't tried anything else. All or any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm using the same plug with and without a 100-150 shot.No problems so far. Also running the autolite platinum version of the same plug in the beater truck with a 100 shot.If anyone could list plugs by the heat range,I would like to test them all.The plugs im running seem to like the stock gap the best with the N02.

Hey all,
I'm also thinking about having my 440 completely rebuilt with nitrous in mind. What sort of 1/4-mile times can a 3,300+ lbs. E-body get with a built auto-tranny, 10.5-inch wide street slicks and, say, a 3.73:1 rear-end (for something approaching streetability) get? How well does the Wedge respond to nitro? Inquiring minds want to know... - novicius - |
