Do i need a title for my cuda to drag race??

I have a 70 Cuda i want to race at a local
1/8 mile track but i don't have the Title
for the car ive heard you don't need one to race i need to know. Thanks

No, you don't need the title, just the necessary safety equipment.

While it is true you don't need a title for your race car, I recommend having one. In the unlikely event that the person with legal title finds the car, the local sheriff will take your car and all the money you put into it, and give it to the "owner".

That could be the local junk yard!

If you carry your car to Mexico to race, you need a title(or proof of ownership) to bring it back. If you drive it over, you can drive it back with no problem. Oh yea, that goes for your scooters, 4-Wheelers and anything else with an engine that is on the trailer. Found out the hard way!
