Hi Paul! I'm from Iowa to. Which track do you race at? Why do you want so much stroke? If you want, Mopar Performance has a 4" stroker crank just made for your motor. I personally am very pleased with my 3.79 stroker. I used a 20 over 340 block. I used eagle rod stock lenght 6.123. J & E flat top Pistons that we pushed out of the block 18 Thousands. This makes it 13 to 1 compression. This helps make the motor think that my open chamber W-2 heads are closed chamber. My car weighs 3400 lbs with me in it and I have only 4 passes on the new combo and have already went 10.70 @ 126 mph 1/4 and 6.76 @ 102 in the 1/8. Right now the only problem I have with mine is my carb shop 750 runs out of poop at 6200. The cam I have should run to 7000. I race Tri State mostly, but do get to Eddyville once in a while. You can see my mopar or no car at my web site. Later Ed
