Hello all, have been using Moparts boards, this one seems to be more info that I'm interested in. Might get that old Savoy running a little better with some advice here. 340king, you ever run at Douglas or Boise? I run at both some, but mainly run at Salt Lake, one thing for sure it doesn't take long here to be envios of those sea level guys, damn they look fast, until you think about it a little, any way thanks for the welcome all.

2 dr sedan, hemi orange, 426 street wedge, runs 11.4's to 5's at 4700', weighs 3500, owned it 5 yrs, found in a field in Kansas. Lots of fun but I'd like to run 10's, need more HP or move to lower elevation, what kind of car you have moeflo?

'64, I got a '65 belvedere 2-dr sedan, stored, safely, out of the weather, awaiting influx of time/money. Sounds like a bad-ass car, you got there. I know it looks good. A 64 savoy ,just can't help it.
I really wanted to find a '63, cause I like the funky little "pod" dash, but, it could be worse.

I have a friend with a real nice 63, I'm with you, I like the dash. 65's are good lookers too. Dollar at a time, day at a time, you'll get it looking good and running fast.

No, I haven't been to Douglas. The closest I have come is Camp Gurnsey!! I have a few friends that have raced there and really like the facility, they too just wish it were a little closer to sea level, but then you would have to put up with traffic instead of antelope. My machinist does enigne work for several racers over there. He is out of Rapid City.
