I saw a picture in a hot rod magazine a few months. It was a rendition of the PT cruiser with faux wood panelling on the sides and the tailgate. Combine this with some nice chrome nameplates and a roof rack and you would have a great surfer vehicle. Does anyone know if Chrysler or any aftermarket folks plan to offer a woodgrain kit?

I'll bet thats one of the first customizations you'll see. Its born to be a surfer car, with all the built in stuff!

I think they learned their lesson with the "woody" k-car wagon.

No, I wouldn't expect to see Chrysler adding a "woodie" option, but somebody will do it, I bet...

J-BODY is just jealous because he doesn't want anybody to copy the woodgrain sides like on his Mirada and the paper that lines his cabinets.

I read today that a woodgrain kit is in the works at Chrysler. I'll keep an eye out for pics. If you find one before me, post it here, Ok?
