Cool

But I didn't want anyone to be tempted by a Black 5 spd LE just sitting around waiting for a trailer. A friend and I flew to Nebraska this morning and picked up the PT an drove it the 500 miles back home. I had told the wife I'd be working and be home late. I met the wife and kids for dinner and gave her the sticker, then the keys...

I'll get it cleaned up after I have a nap...

Bob, Chrysler owes you big time for moderating "PT Cruiser Chat" all these months, and also for waiting longer and working harder to get your own Cruiser.

What do you say Chrysler? What are you going to do for Bob?!

Well, I gotta say that the DC Zone rep is the reason it did show up when it did. When it got restricted, they had 6 alocated that week. The dealerships' mgmt went to zone and got them to grant an allocation as a favor. Zone evidenly had many trucks that needed to move and the dealership helped them out. To me, thats good. At least people were trying and thinking and doing to make our car a reality...

I just hope they do what they can for all the otheres still on the backlog sheets. Knowing that for each of them is a family anxiously waiting on their PT should help them understand the importance of it all.

BTW, the PT ran great the whole trip. No problems at all.
