Keeping the Dodge RAM off the list only means most auto theives have no taste (but I appreciate that.)
It also means our insurance should be a lot lower than those vehicles on the list. ------------------ "Good Luck on your project." Mid Michigan MOPAR Enthusiasts |

Where I live, the most commonly stollen automotive part (according to the Police) is the old Dodge Ram hood ornament. I only know 1 person who still has theirs, and he soldered it on.

About a month ago, some sh**bag stole a $4 set of valve caps off my truck. It's only $4.....no big deal......but if I had walked out at just the right moment, they would've been the most expensive set he ever laid eyes on..........nothing in this world makes me angrier than thievery.

I mentioned this one before, and it still makes my blood boil. I like woodcarving on the side. I bought some LUND headlight covers and traced the RAMs head off my tail light covers and made an outline of it on the LUND covers.
Then I used a dremel tool and about 2 weeks later, I had them done and painted to match. Had them on the truck about 2 weeks, when my neighbor called me (after calling the cops) to say she could see someone messing with my truck. (didn't get the license plate number.) Sure enough, everything else was fine, but my totally custom head light covers were gone. I'll know them if I ever see them again. AND I'M LOOKING. ------------------ "Good Luck on your project."
